Billy's is a fun bar, with good food. A great place to watch sports. Excellent wings, burgers, and fries.

Small place inside, had burger and fries, burger was good, no complatint, but the fries were real fries but for some reason the were un-eatabe, it may have been the
oil was old or bad , don't know. It does have a pool table and outside seating itfthe weather is nice.

However, if you are not a Greenbay Packer fan do not go there on football game day. Packer fanitics are there in force, they love their team and Billy's is a Packer bar!!! Sorry guys your QB Bret will not be back!!!!!!

Will go back maybe even on game day!!!!!

Beer & Wings on the Patio

Billy now has Shaggy's jerk wings (yes, just like you remember them on the South Congress location!). What could be better than a cold pitcher of PREMIUM beer and those lovely jerk wings on the patio on a glorious spring evening?

The only problem I have with Billy's is the fact that it's on the bus route home and home is a block away from the place so it's very tempting to go there every night.
When the weather gets nice for that week or so in March it's great to sit out and drink a pitcher and have some of the best burgers and onion rings in Austin.
I always get "The Ends" Burger - spicy, bleu cheese, tasty, a real burger. Usually get fried okra on the side. I've heard that the regular cheeseburger is tasty and that the avocado burger is awesome and the veggie burger is really good. In fact a non-vegetarian always get the veggie burger when we go to Billy's so it must be good.
If you're in the mood for a relaxed kind of evening of burgers and beer swing by - just make sure you wear your elastic pants because your gonna get stuffed.
