Good Thin

This is my preferred pizza style--thin crust, good cheese. I ordered a slice with fresh garlic, and a house salad (they don't offer any lunch special package deals, so you have to roll your own). Slice was good, loaded with garlic. My only complaint was that it was a bit soggy. The crust is so thin that it doesn't hold up if it's not super-fresh. The slice I got was very limp, requiring both hands to serve as a scaffodling to support it enough to eat sans silverware. The salad was decent, but nothing special--the ranch dressing was just ok, not Good Ranch, unfortunately. So I'd likely skip the salad next time.

I wanted more pizza so got another slice of just cheese. This one was fresher I guess because the crust was firm. I could one-hand this piece.

The slices could stand to be a few radians larger, but overall, very good pizza.

Best thin crust pizza in the area, pretty consistent, and crispy when fresh out of the oven. Though this pizza will get by as a reasonable sub for NY style pies, and could be called one of the best in the area, there really isn't much competition around here for good pizza. Also, let's not get this pizza confused with authentic NY style pizza which is made in old seasoned brick ovens fired by wood, charcoal, or similar, fresh dough made daily, hand tossed for every order, paper thin crust that is crispy and chewy with a touch of burn from the 1,000 degree heat brick oven, and unfortunatley, not available anywhere in Austin.

Used to eat at the one on 183 and it was great, since it burned down I have tried teh one in Round Rock, still godd but not up to same standard as the that was on 183.

There doesn't seem to be the same servcie as the old one. If you go there during school lunch you will find to many funky dressed kids hanging around inside and out. They don't cause any problems but they have no scense of taste on clothing.

I get the pizza with hamburer, onions, and tomato and sometime add meatball.
I like a hamburger style pizza!!!!!

I really like it though, I get 2 or 3 slices several times a month.

Terrible

Ordered out from the one in Round Rock. Flimsy thin crust pizza that is on par with frozen pizza you buy in HEB. No one liked it except my youngest son. It tasted like nothing special, and the chicken wings were a little over cooked, sitting in a bath of grease and sauce. You can get better wings in Walmart. No ever going back, what a waste of money.

I've never had thin crust pizza or been to a restaurant where you eat on paper plates and drink out of paper cups. The best method I found to eat these large slices is to fold them in half and let the oil drip off for a minute or so and then it is safe to eat. I guess this is a different kind of pizza than I am used to.

Excellent NY style pizza

My ideal pizza is the thin-crust, NY style pizza, just cheese, so that nothing messes with the experience. I have never been able to find this style here in Austin, until now. Although Saccone's describes itself as "pizza with a Jersey attitude," it's still the NY style pizza that approaches my ideal. The crust is thin, but not soggy or undercooked, with just the right amount of cheese and sauce. And speaking of sauce, the regular pizza is great, but with the "sweet sauce," it is the best I've had in a long time. They have three locations, but I've only been to the one on Research, an unremarkable little place in a small strip center, although they have a little shrine to the NJ Devils hockey team on the wall for a little "Jersey" character. My only complaint is that they only sell individual slices until 5:00, so you are forced to buy a whole pizza after than. Other than that, I have been happy with the pizza and the service.
