About Which Wich

Confusingly-named no-nonsense sandwich chain out of Dallas. No soup. No salad. Just sandwiches, served in an edgy yet inviting environment.

Unique ordering system--grab a bag, grab a Sharpie, check off your sandwich ingredient preferences, hand the bag to the cashier. Hot sandwich appears inside selfsame bag when your name is called. Makes perfect sense--you assemble your desired sandwich from the various ingredients listed on the bag instead of picking from a menu of preordained sandwich component assemblages. There are no extra fees for any of it, except for a small selection of extras at the bottom (bacon, avocado, etc). One price fits all. They don't sell soup. They don't sell salads. There is only one size of sandwich. Simple and streamlined. The Southwest Airlines of fast food?

House-made kettle chips tasted weird, with some kind of odd seasoning that didn't seem like it belonged on a potato chip. Sandwich was good, but not outstanding. I did not like the bacon style--bacon bits instead of actual pieces of bacon. You don't get the bacon crunch, and honestly, I detected no bacon flavor. Not worth the extra 75¢.

Nice touch for the solo diner and for those awaiting a to go order--they have each section of the daily paper hanging up on separate kiosk thingys near where you pick up your food. You can grab a section and take it down to read at your table, or you can stand and read while you await your grub. Clever.

On a second visit I tried the "cheesesteak." It was more like a warm roast beef sandwich with undergrilled onions than a real cheesesteak sandwich. I think they just pile on some roast beef and feed the sandwich through their toaster-belt. Was not a good cheesesteak.

Overall, the fare is acceptable (just stay away from the "cheesesteak") and the concept is interesting.

Who doesn't love which wich? Awesome food, and a decent price for a sandwich shop. I've never had a bad meal here and the atmosphere is normally enjoyable.
Best of all- you can get sauerkraut on an italian grinder- does it get any better than that?
Make sure to beat the lunch rush.

Which Wich - Austin Triangle.

Order the "Wicked" sandwich. somehow between the person in front of me in line and my paying for my sandwich it took them 15 minutes to even hang my order. Odd since about 5 other people who ordered AFTER me were already getting their sandwiches.

Add another 10 minutes and the "manager" comes around handing out $2 discounts and apologizing for some delay. Ok, I'll go along with it. It still doesn't explain how the 5 people got ahead of me. Finally a full 30 minutes after ordering, I get my sandwich and guess what? You got it. They got it wrong. Not rocket science here people, the items I wanted are checked off on an order sheet. For example, I got red peppers instead of the tomatoes I asked for. I suppose if you don't know the difference that could happen. How about the cheese I didn't order?

Overpriced, undersized, disorganized service, and wrong food.

Ok, not the best o' sandwich, but hell if you don't get what you order you are dumb! The most efficient ordering process i have ever seen. Really, its a sandwich, you ask for what you get and by golly it's pretty good. Unlike Chris, I dig zee chips.

"its as if subway and quiznos produced a baby sandwich shop together, and they named it which wich." it tastes better than both and is unique in many ways. once it has been around a little longer the menu will hopefully expand a little. recomend the chicken marinara with crispy onions and lettuce. basic sandwich but its great! chips are different!

The worst Place to Go "Which wich". The Food Sucks. Worst part was Kids Meal- Cheese Pizza. Who in the world make Cheese Pizza on "Regualr BREAD SLICE" with pizza sauce and "cheese slice"? Comment from my 5 year old Son was "MOMMY is this Pizza?" Not only this the PIZZA was switched with GRILLED CHEESE Sandwich, which was even worst than Pizza. My son refused to eat both and said "FOOD IS NOT GOOD" Lets go eat somewhere.

Their "UGLY" brown bag, concept is weird, this shows that they do not want to talk or take your order personally. I rather pick up a Burger at Burger king and receive a nice personal CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I do not recommend this place at all. It was a Horrible Experience at Horrible Which wich Place (Atlanta Location (Forum Mall)).

Crap...Will not go back again to this place... Slow process...Employees are not friendly... Also i ordered Chik Wich and meant was iced cold.. looked like they had got their chick from publix/Walmat deli section and ddid not even wait for it to come to room temp.. or worm up... spend $15. Felt like west of my dollar... I ordered cheese Pizza from kinds menu for my son and when we got it, it was cheese slice inbetween 2 slice of bread.. for $4.00, I can make that home and would be much Cheaper....

DO NOT EVEN THINKING ABOUT TRING THIS PLACE. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE... HRRIBLE WICH.......

I like their sandwiches (which is acutally what counts, I guess) but the background music at the location I visited was so loud I could hardly talk with the cashier. Don't care much for the in-house chips - too thick. The ordering system is unique and kind of fun, but I'm not sure how it will wear after I've used it a while (even after just two trips, it's novelity is starting to wear off). All in all, I think the place is a winner.

First of all, I'm in love with the unique style of ordering.
Secondly, their sandwitches are great. Although they aren't as big as most sandwich places', they're really good.

I just became familiar with Which Wich when a location opened up in the Mueller shopping center, and I've fallen in love :)

You don't have a 10 or better. Come on this is the best place I have ever been to. You can have fun and get a great sandwich at the same time. It is always packed at the one in Cool Springs where me and hundreds of my friends and family go. I tell everyone and even told everyone on face book. Please, please tell someone to have one in Spring Hill, Tn. If I had the money I would start my own so quick. It is the very, very best ever. Thank you so so much. My granddaughter told me about it and I have had daughters, mother sister everyone I can tell that go their and love it.

I don't know what the other people on here are talking about, this place is awesome! They fresh slice everything, so I don't know what the guy was talking about 'cheap cheese' or whatever. Go to steak and ale if you want something fancy, it's a SANDWICH shop and they do a great job! Staff was friendly and the sandwiches were the best I've ever had. Try the hot chicken salad, its wonderful! 5 stars!

A million times better than subway! Considerably better than Quizno's. Lots of choices, a good amount of veggies to choose from (i love cucumbers and black olives and it's hard to find a hot sandwich place that offers the two). My wiches have always been very tasty and constructed well. If you get an additional item they charge for, I recommend asking for it on the side with a plastic knife. At least with the avocado, it tends to get WAY too messy if you put it directly on the sandwich and i think they give you more when it's on the side.

I don't know if it was just this particular location, but the atmosphere at the Triangle Which Wich was really overwhelming. I couldn't wait to get my sandwhich so I could go outside to eat in peace and quiet. The people making the sandwhiches just kept yelling out "Hotwhich" ever 10 seconds or so. It just echoed. After I was outside I saw another customer walk out with a phone to one ear and his hand over the other telling the person on the other line "Sorry, I'm at this resturant where everyone keeps yelling". I would NEVER sit inside there to eat. The food was OK, it's a sandwich. I agree with the other reviewers review of the potato chips-weird spice. The only way I would go again would be if I knew there would be space outside to sit or if I was getting it to go, even then, I'm not sure if would be worth the auditory torture to wait for my sandwich.

I have really enjoyed every sandwich I've gotten from Which Wich so far!! They are a perfect size too, not too big and not too small, perfect for lunch. The Wicked Wich piles on the meat and cheese without breaking the bank. The meatball sandwich is tasty (tastes like real beef in there unlike some sandwich joints). The pizza sub is also very good, I got it with extra cheese on it. The Gyro and Hummus subs were also surprisingly very good!! The only questionable sandwich I have had so far is the Chicken Parma as it came with what looked like un-breaded chicken pieces (instead of 1 larger breaded piece of chicken), it still tasted okay, but it was a bit disappointing.

The staff are all youthful and energetic, and the decor is bright and sparse... Like Quiznos, the sandwiches are all toasted, so the preparation time is a bit longer than say Subway...

All in all after Jersey Mikes, this is my favorite sub place!

I had the Wicked Wich - it's turkey, bacon, roast beef, pepperoni, ham your choice of 2 cheeses and a bunch of other crap I really couldn't taste.

All in all - I couldn't really decipher any single flavor in all of it - I couldn't tell that I order provolone and swiss or that turkey was present. When everything is sliced as thin as possible it's hard to figure out one salty processed meat from another.

I was a good sized sandwich but with chips and a drink it came out to roughly $8.

Deleware Subs was just up the street with a Philly Cheesteak special
I kept thinking I should have gone there.

Wich isn't bad - or good - reminded me of a cold Quiznos that had been smashed under a few books in my backpack.

I think my synopsis sums it up for me: good sandwiches, great design, long line. I liked the Italian, the Turkey Reuben left something to be desired, the BLT had chopped up bits of bacon, not slices. Despite all this, I'll be back. Love the homemade chips.

I hate places that have fountain iced tea instead of fresh brewed. They even have it in a faux iced tea pot so it looks like fresh brewed. Sandwiches are small but decent. Nothing special.
